Kimberly Stoneton is the owner of Bloom Salon and Spa, located in downtown Winthrop. Kim opened her Main Street business in August 2009, and 18 months ago, she expanded her hair salon and offers a wide array of services including: massages, pedicures, manicures, facials, eyelash extensions, and more. A native of Winthrop, Kim is passionate about her central Maine town and is a strong believer in 'curb appeal' and adding beauty to downtown. An avid supporter of fellow business owners, Kim graduated from Winthrop High School in 1995 and went on to get a degree in cosmetology from Bernard's School of Hair Design in 1997.
Kim is the mother of two daughters, Haley and the late Kelsey Stoneton. Her daughters inspire her each day to enjoy every precious second and to offer strangers and friends a smile no matter where life takes her. When she is not working, Kim spends her time enjoying Maine's fine restaurants, hiking Mt. Pisgah, kayaking Cobbossee or Maranacook, or paddling down the rushing waters of the Kennebec and Penobscot Rivers.
